Brian Hasenkamp – Principal Strategist & Advisor
Coming up through the ranks of Direct Mail, Publishing and Traditional Advertising agencies, Brian got a feel for process, the goods and bads and took it all in for about 10 years. Through it all he noticed a distinct lack of solid defensible rationale in the creative being developed and rolled out. Somewhat disenchanted, Brian sought to find a place where his passion for logic and data could enhance his creative pursuits.
Everything began to gel when the digital market started to take off around the millennium. Brian started off on the path of all things digital, without leaving his past behind. Brian started Asenka in 2002 and has steadily grown with the technology. He’s quite content now to be able to leverage all the creative training along with the digital tracking tools which have evolved into his own matrix for analyzing the effectiveness of digital campaigns that include a key focus on quality, not just quantity.
Brian most enjoys family time with his wife and two young boys. When time beyond that avails, you’ll find him on the mountain bike trails, in the garage working on his Mustang restoration project, or on a rare day, even at the race track. Brian and his family are active in their church as well, leading a couples ministry, teaching children’s church and anything else they might lend a hand in.
Scott Johnson – Website Developer
Scott grew up with an enduring love for art, design and computers, it only made sense to combine those passions into a career. Scott graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, honed his skills within Philadelphia design firms and gained experience creating highly functional, concept-driven web projects for the city, including Phila.gov, the Community College of Philadelphia and Philadelphia International Airport.
Later, he developed and managed website’s for the State of New Jersey and worked on online marketing campaigns for numerous Fortune 500 company’s such as Hyundai, Mercedes Benz and Sony Entertainment.
At Asenka, Scott is responsible for website design and development, brand identity and user experience for a broad range of clients and industries. In his free time, he loves spending time with family, cooking, skiing, biking and the beach!
Eric Michels – Online Marketing Coordinator
Eric studied business marketing at Stockton College and has a background in art and writing. Working in a variety of marketing roles in diverse industries, Eric has learned a lot about marketing both online and offline. At Asenka Eric is responsible for increasing site visibility through keyword research & implementation, content creation, pay per click advertising, competitor research, backlinking and more! He has an identical twin brother so don’t get confused if you see two of him. In his free time Eric enjoys being outdoors, playing guitar, riding his road bike, and going to concerts.
Lauran Bonaparte – Project Manager
Sales, Marketing and Operations have been on Lauran’s resume for over two decades. She’s honed her skill set in a few different industries, from Real Estate to Entertainment to Finance and now Digital Marketing.
As a native New Yorker, Lauran studied Business Administration at Fordham University. She’s an energetic team player that understands how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced industry. She had the pleasure to work for start-ups as well as Fortune 1000 firms but definitely prefers the smaller, homier environment. At Asenka, she is responsible for managing projects, communicating with clients and balancing customer needs with business priorities.
Lauran’s personal time is family time where she enjoys movies, board games and outings with her 2 kids and weekend getaways with her husband. She also volunteers with Jersey Girls Animal Rescue where she secretly wishes she could adopt them all!
